A work in progress shot for my character Delrin

I'm planning to use this model to practice with subsurface scattering shaders to partially simulate human skin.

Fixed. Thanks for letting me know =]

By the way I got the demo, and am getting the full (yay for having connections to one of the animation instructors at my collage ^^;)

QUESTIONS! How did you change the view to do the inside of the mouth, and how do you add 'layers' to add like cloths and such? :3

This so fare is rather fun to play with and so freaking easy. I'm loving it already.

You're making me miss zbrush more a jerk >3

Delrin is seriously an awesome character. You need some glasses on his model here. =D That'd help complete it.

Zbrush is set by default so that it only shows the normals of the ploygons. That means that the other side is invisible.

So, with that in mind, what you can do to see the 'inside' of the mouth is to isolate (ctrl + shift + drag a box over the desired area) the mouth area so that the rest of the head is not visible. From there, you will be able to see the inside of the mouth and edit its walls by moving the model around.

As for clothing, you will have to use subtool extraction. You basically paint a mask onto parts of the model, and then use the subtool> extract function to create a separate mesh to work with. It's a bit hard to explain in words, so I would recommend that you look at the how-to videos on their site first. =]

I have to say I am loving this thing! It is so freaking easy to use... jujst wonder of smoothing everything was such a good idea cause my first creation when I expotred it has a.... lot of vertex's. lol

Have you figured out how to poly paint yet? I sorted it out but no idea how to ad what I did to a texture map :P
