Artist's Comments Ahh, It’s been a while since I’ve pressed those buttons, It’s really refreshing! Here’s my most recent work! This is a compilation of some recent skills I have acquired as well as old ones I have honed with new tools and methods I developed; Lineart in Illustrator CS, a relatively quick and efficient Soft and Cel shading combination in Photoshop CS2, and most importantly, raw Digital painting in Painter XI! A lot of study went into digital painting and design. I looked into Star Wars art books and tried to emulate their methods. I especially found Ryan Church’s work to be the best template to follow. All together, this piece took about 18 hours to complete over a span of about three weeks. Most of it went into the digital painting end. I keep going back and forth trying out new things until I felt satisfied. Needless to say, I have a newfound respect for those that make digital paintings. Its one of the most difficult art oriented tasks I’ve been faced with. I hope to work on this skill so that I get proficient enough with it. Digital painting can create amazing effects if done right =].  DescriptionThis is a promo pic of an up and coming community theme that I have been working on for a while. Some of you have been wondering about my character’s origins, what is that thing following him around? Why does he look so familiar to a certain two tailed fox? What’s with those circuit designs on his eyes? ^^ Well here’s a glimpse of what is to come in his storyline! What you see before you is the Sky Lab; the central base of the secret organization known as the Technoguild and current residence of my character. I’ll be showing more soon. First of all, the splendid lineart was done very well on this, its very smooth and it shows alot of detail, plus you captured Dack's personality and brilliantness. Ah not a word. *kills self*
The pose is also awesome, it really looks well rounded off and the viewer can really get a feel of his confidence and his mood! Very well done with everything, the colors are bright and smooth and everything is looking splendid!!
The background is what makes this image more jawdropping, because it looks so calm with serenity and all the nice clouds flowing around it. Heheh, you painted the structure very clearly and offered alot of light and shading to it. THe watercolor look really does make it look fine and well done! The text was also a nice addition as well as the faded image of the technoguild insignia = D

It's great to see you back, buddy. And with great artwork you shown us ^^.
It looks like you've changed your style a bit or even more, especially the eyes ^^. Good I love the eyes, just like Cobalt's eyes. And the top hair (not the 3 bangs), very nice ^^. The ears are staying up more, nice touch. The pulls in the clothing, very nice.
You're still vectoring in Illustrator... I should start doing that again... it just takes so long.
Man, I sure can depict art now... must be from my college
