This is an old gift drawing I decided to color. It was given on Thu Jul 24, 2003 11:33 pm by none other than the great kaoru-chan! :worship:

The original sketch is of my character's old look. [link]
It actually helped me a lot in improving his design later on. ^^

:bulletred:Experiment #19: Open Canvas style painting

Description
This is my second attempt at using the tools in OC 1.1. Before I dove back in I searched for some good OC works and tutorials to study. So basically I gave myself a crash course in the program before starting. Out of all the programs I have tried, this one seems to be the simplest.

I took the sketch, colored it and gave it a fitting background. ^^ My character giving a lesson on some some advanced physics concepts :D

The equations are real btw. If you can understand them and explain what I put there, I'll give you a free lightsaber! XD J/k! Maybe just a free request from me. ^^

Enjoy!

WOw thats pretty awsome! ^^ *giggles* is that where hes pointing at something about a Parallel Dimension vortex if im right? ^^ correct me if im wrong sir its very impressive i do love these lessons =3 very good indeed like in the movie the way the effects look so awsome when traveling down a wormhole to another dimension where your in hyperspace and can see little whats visible outside as you get carried off towards the end of the line ^^;

I may not know much bout this but i have a strong curious mind to lear and find out myself i not sure if your into astronomy but i am ^.^ i really love to observe the skies and well not sure what you called those that believe in Extraterrestial life i myself believe after i had an encounter when i was 6.

Wow, awesome ^^ Kaoru did a wonderful job with the drawing, and your character looks so innocent and kind. I love your coloring job. Your OC skills are gaining and improving. Fantastic job on the tails and textured look to stuff. The effect of the white on the green chalkboard looks good-- like real chalk too.

He's teaching a lesson, hmm? ^^ Pretty neat how the name is added in amongst the writing up on the board.

Question, how do you set the lineart so you can color under it? Or over it, without disturbing the lineart.
